EK Supremacy Install

Hi chaps

Quick question - do you know whether I need to install backplate for EK cpu waterblock for 2011 socket. I have watched some videos which suggest you don't need to, but the instructions suggest you do.

Any ideas?

Is yours 2011 socket?

My Supremacy on my SKT2011 all i did was screw the 4 suplied screws into the mount already on the board.

It didnt mention about fitting the backplate..

Infact i dont see how it would fit.

It says it in the instructions for the 2011 socket - I was confused too! IN the end I just did what you did - 4 thumbscrews in. Problem solved.
