Hi,

I'm trying to work out why my temps are not so great on what i think is a very good watercooling setup, and i'm wondering about how my waterblock is mounted

I can't remember seeing instructions on how to fit my block so wondered if anyone has instructions

I'm may well have done it fine, but i just want to be sure

thanks

Averaging 70+ at 4.5ghz (1.35v) using Prime, with an Alphacool Monsta 360 x 80mm radiator and an EK 240mm radiator. AP-15 fans throughout and an Ek DCP 4.0 pump

Should be better surely?

Just noticed this

And i'm pretty sure mine wasn't installed the same, i had a rectangular backplate that i fitted, i didn't just mount the waterblock to the backplate thats already fitted? Unless i'm reading the diagrams wrong!

I think the rive has holes to fit the 1366 backplate as well as the standard 2011 fitting that screws directly into the socket.
