Ek titan x backplate issue

I have a evga titan x with ek full cover Waterblock I installed a ek backplate but it only makes contact to the ram on the side of the i/o and not the others I have used the right .5mm pads. Also it asks you to use a long strip of the thermal pad on the lower third of the card but there isn't anything there to make contact with.

Unless you fitted it backwards or something, there is probably no cause for worry, the backplate is mainly for looks anyways.

Some of the screw holes act as feet, are the all seated right? Post pics really... Hard to say but using the stock back plate as a guide have you got pads in all those places?

Make sure all the screws are the right length, some are 8mm and some are longer. It's easy to mix them up. Not saying I did that obviously
