so trying to use the ek software but it wont work ? do i need the ek controller ? it's a single loop to my gpu but want it to react to temp ..
what software are you using ??
never had a problem with the phobya as it was running full .. ?

The RGB is controlled by a 5v 3 pin RGB plug that connects to your motherboard, you need to use your motherboard software to control the lighting

Otherwise if you want to use the EK software then you need to buy an EK connect controller.
EDIT: or maybe not, its EOL.

thx not bothered about rgb .. just wanted to control pump speed in relation to temp .. will have to leave it full blast .. :)

The pump should be powered by SATA or Molex, but should also have a connector for RPM / PWM header, you can the set it up in the bios fan control or again your motherboard fan control software to control the speed.

The speed doesnt make any difference or very minimal difference, I actually found that running my D5 Pump at around 2500rpm - 3000rpm is was the most quiet but kept up with cooling efficiently, if you run it too fast, it pumps your fluid around so fast that the radiators barely have time to cool it down before its next pass, and if you run it too slow, then theres not enough pressure.
