EK X3M drgb 120er Fans and Aquacomputer Octo compatibility

Heard mixed opinions in terms of power.

are both the above compatible with one another in terms of pwm control and control of rgb lighting?

I had an octo that had only 5 fans- all non rgb and 2 aqua computer rgb strips on it and it surged and fused so I would be careful with what you use

Hmm thanks for the heads up. What controller aside from the octo would you recommend to control 6 ek X3M rgb fans?
Preferably not ek’s own fan controller as I heard their software control sucks
