Hi all,

I'm a watercooling novice looking at putting together my first custom loop. It's for an mATX build in a Parvum S2 case (so space is an issue). I'm cooling a CPU and two 980 Ti's. I'm going to use two 240 rads. I've spent time looking at pumps, reservoirs and tops etc (I've struggled to find any clear explanations of the difference between D5 and DDC) and I think that a pump/res combo would be my best option.

I've found this pump/res combo but am a bit concerned by a) the size of res (although I've read this isn't very important) and b) the line in the description "It has been designed to lower the production costs yet still offer premium hydraulic performance at the best price."

There are no reviews for it yet, so thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has any experience with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The size of the res is not important, my cpu loop uses a small res, my gpu loop uses a big one just for the looks. Think about the AIO watercoolers, they don't even have a reservoir.

This res/pump you are talking about is based on DDC pumps, they cheaper than D5 pumps, some people complain about noise, but I have 2 DDC pumps 10 and 18W and cannot complain, in my case they are really quiet.

Thanks for the info!
