Hard to get a picture but I have what looks like a circle blob of coolant over the lines/where the chip is.

I've had the loop for several months and this isn't normal, is it?

Is this something I can fix? such as by tightening screws. If not is it something covered under EKWB warranty? Or is it my fault

I'm not sure how long it's been there but temps are cool. Will leaving it cause any issues?

Not a leak, just looks like there is more room for the fluid to flow above the heatsink. While technically this creates less restriction around the chip sink, it wont do much to temperatures due to how effective these blocks are anyway.

The picture is quite blurry so its difficult to discern whether there is room for fluid to flow above the chip sink or if the fluid only passes through the center of the heat sink.

I have only seen something similar a few times and that was when dye was collecting on gunk trapped in the heatsink. Not a huge issue really, temps were as normal. Next time you break down your rig, would just open the block up to inspect and clean it.

I put my phone under the block recording to look but it just looks like the top picture. I plan on breaking down the rig when I move out, and putting in the primoflex tubing that you recommended me so I'll do it then and fingers crossed it will be OK. Not looking forward that much to draining my loop.

Thanks again

As long as fluid does not get past the black rubber O-ring surrounding the block, not worth worrying about a leak.

Take your time draining it. I drain the bulk of the fluid and then leave the reservoir top off and go to work. Usually by the time i come back, the blocks and fittings have little enough fluid that removing them without spilling is easy.
