I've recent gone from a full Aquaero setup (pump, res, flow and controller) to EKWB Predator with QDC so I'd thought I'd share my experiences.

So why move? OK, I like a quiet, hassle free setup my previous setup was beginning to annoy me with stuck air, high temps and noise (odd fan curves - gpu temps would jump +/- 20c for seemingly no reason). I have since realised I have made mistakes in the loop but hey ho.

My thoughts on the predator..

Kit is Predator 360 cooling the CPU and two GTX1080's. Installation was breeze with the QDC doing it's job really well. Lot's tubing to handle even in a 900D Temperatures are fantastic, I'm seeing 45c on GPU under 100% load and fairly quiet fans (~1600rpm - controlled by Aquaero). The looks are good (not brilliant). But foremost if the ability to move things around in the case with absolutely no hassle, perfect.

good to hear good news about your ekwb predator 360. i just bought a 240 and am about to send it back because the piercing pump whine can be heard three rooms away. but i don't want to go through the rma hassle if it's aa mistake i've made or something i can fix. i would greatly appreciate any thoughts you might have. (eg is the coolant level low? are ekwb pumps in general noisy? can i separate the fan and water pump speeds? idling i'm still getting temperatures of 40-45 which doesn't bode well, or do ekwb pumps maintain their level very well when stressed? etc.)

thanks for any feedback.

I'm actually quite impressed that the Predator can cool both the CPU and your SLI graphics cards. What order do you have them set up in?

I'm tempted to get one but just for GPU cooling, so maybe one of the 140mm ones.
