Due to space problems I might have to connect my Eheim 1048 outlet with a 90 degree Elbow connector , rather than the straight outlet and bending the tubing.

Can anyone see any problems with this ( i.e Flow loss ? ) ?

Thanks , in advance for any comments.

Cheers,

Mark

Yes ,thought of that , but then i have the problem at the inlet.

Would an elbow on the inlet cause similar problems but in reverse i.e supply of water ?

Cheers,

Mark

I've had to use an elbow on my Eheim's inlet since moving this computer to a different case about a year ago, it hasn't affected the temeratures at all.

Elbow here myself after the piping kept kinking coming out of the outlet of the Pump, it has to go through a tight bend, although, I could probably remove it if I used quality pipe rather than B&Q 1/2" stuff. (or to be more precise B&Q "Almost but-not-really, its sort of bigger in places and in others, smaller" 1/2" ID Pipe) Raised my temps by a whopping....1*C. :p Idle mind, its about 3*C load.

My pump leaks a wee bit, any other arrangement results in my HDD's getting a bath. :(
