I find that, with my glass desk at least, my mouse elbow has been getting sore after extensive computer use, obviously when my work involves computers that is a problem. Are there any elbow rests that people here find useful for computer use, are any particular materials better than others etc.?

I'm intrigued as to how you're managing to sit so that your elbow is on the desk instead of hovering over the arm rest on your chair.

I - like many others on here I imagine - tend to sit fully underneath the desk with arms resting on top.

OP, take a look at the BoogieBug XL. I believe OcUK do offers on these sometimes. I place keyboard, mouse and arms on one of these.

I used this until my old deathadder mouse broke and I started using my razer mamba.
Because I found the mamba would not work on it (the mouse cursor would wobble as it was moved).
So be careful if you decide to buy one and have a check to see if your mouse will work on it.

You could consider buying elbow pads, like the skateboarders use. I have a similar problem but my elbows are always on the arm rests on my PC chair. I ended buying a more expensive chair with comfy padded arm rests which has helped, but my elbows still get a little sore.

You can't be very productive like that.
