Elder lemon - new old biker

Hi peeps, having had great times on my selection of 125,s I rode 20 odd years ago i have elected to get back on the old bikes.
I have just got hold of a very nice 2 stroker - Dt125r and can't wait to get the dammed cbt put of the way which is this Friday.
I know a 4 stroke is prehaps the best bet, but the smell of 2 stroke in the morning arhhhhhh....................

Nothing like the smell of 2 stroke, the dt125 are good little big and can be de-restricted to double there power i think.

Hi peeps, bought another bike on the weekend and it's great.
3850 miles with full service history.
It goes really well and pulls very strong for such a little engine.
This one is for my mod 1 as it does not try to flip like the blasted DT does.

Can you jar up the sweet smell of the 2 stroke and send it to me please? lol

I was once at the H cafe near Oxford and this old boy rocked up on a old school gas gas (or what ever they are called) 2 stroke, only went over to smell it haha.

Lovely looking bike for a 125, but I would have thought the DT125 would have been perfect for your CBT. Has someone been at the ports, since a 12bhp 125 is most unlikely to want to flip?

Yes

She has been messed with and is near 30 bhp, as soon as you go over 7000rpm she comes up and it will go off the clock which shows 80 mph.
I have elected to keep the dt as a dirt bike and use the cafe for the bike test.
