Elder Scrolls 5 rumor

Try oblivion stutter remover that fixes the stutter. 2) The only stutter the gamebroy engine has is the loading of textures on the fly. An ssd sorts that out.

I know that ( thanks anyway ) but still the point of my post still stands! , gamebyro DITCH IT NOW

However you are totaly wrong on the second point i could prove that , but anyway not worth it. The engine is still s....

Couldnt be doing with oblivion, found it incredibly dumbed down and unimaginative compared to morrowind which i played to death, even with its flaws, here is hoping its more like that

Loved TES! Looks amazing with Qarl's texture pack and handles excellently. I can't really see what the issue is with the current engine, works well, handles nicely, never crashes and feels good.

If they continue the story, update the graphics and add a ton of new quests then I'm happy :D

Bring on D3 first though.

I hope this is more Morrowind than Oblivion.

It might be the same engine but the gameplay style was a million miles apart, Morrowind was interesting and engaging, and rewarded exploration, Oblivion was pretty and in some ways more of the same but it just gave you everything all the time, there literally was no point exploring anymore, i cant remember what tottaly drove me away from the game but i never finished it where as i did everything in morrowind.

Apart from having a ****** 64HZ problem , if the engine is fine why would you need mods such as oblivion stutter remover , fallout stutter remover and vegas stutter remover?. Also don't confuse hard drive load with the type of stutter that is a problem with the engine and gettickcount. Frameskipping!

Even Nvidia is trying to find out what's going on , affects some ATI owners too!.

Doesn't effect me at all in Fallout 3 or TES. Both run sweetly.

Never had any stutter with Oblivion or Fallout 3 myself.

I personally preferred Oblivion to Morrowind, but that might be because I was too young the first time I played Morrowind, so got confused.

Apart from gamebryo in general, another thing I really hope they fix is the animations. Beth ain't the sharpest tool in the box in that regard.....flying wolves anyone? :p...you know, not just better movement but no more of this floating/hovering. Stick to the damn ground!

I'd be very happy to be wrong but I'd heard that it's going to be multiplatform and the controls tailored to a gamepad.

no real word on it but i read an article the other day in which Blizzard were hiring a bunch of console devs relating to DIII.. i'll try and find the article

EDIT: these arent the ones but i guess it gives a good idea

I don't think its all bad to be hoenstm Blizzard always tend to focus on PC first regardless.

Given the amount of time since FO3 and now that ID are now a sister studio in which they said the Rage engine will only be use in game within the ZeniMax Media group. I was rather hoping they drop the very ageing and creaky gamebryo engine for the rage engine aka idTech 5

Why would they drop the gamebryo engine, it runs perfectly fine on both consoles.

I don't really care if they change the engine or not so long as they produce another quality game.

I second this, I hope they get a lot more people for voice acting as well.

I would rather they do completely new engine for a new elder scrolls game. With it being on current Gen I can see there point I wish they waited for next Gen or atleast made a pc version and dumbed down the console if they had to

Really looking forward to another TES game :) Oblivion was a bit of a disappointment without mods, although I've now got it modded to hell! Much better, so many hours and I still haven't started the main story where you open the hellgate thingy. I found all the oblivion levels so boring first time around.

I played Morrowind a 3rd time for the most part of a flight to Australia a few years back as it was about the only decent game my laptop could handle... loved it!

For me when ever I see a benchmark like the stone giant, I think that would make a great engine to build an rpg like the Elder Scrolls 5.

YAY ! TES 5 :) I'm not bothered what they make the game with, as long as it is as good as their previous work.

Dammit, now I want to play Oblivion but I just don't have the time :(:( Damn you college, damn you !
