Is this game worth picking up for £10?

I hear great things about this game but don't actually know anyone who plays it to ask :p, anyone here play this game and can recommend it? Is it similar to WoW or Diablo ? What can this game be compared to?

Thanks in advance

Thanks, I'll be definitely getting it then. It's £15 for the PS3 at the purple shirt retailer. The £10 one had knights of the nine but was the non game of the year edition so I got to fork out an extra £5 if i want shimmering islands.

Got it! Was £15 brand new, only played it about a couple of hours so far through the first part (dark tunnel full of rats + escorting emperor), making an Archer although the bow has a really short range on arrows, I assume this is upgraded later on right? lol

Really good game thou, don't regret buying it, wish I got it sooner :D.

No, make sure you wait until the bowstring is fully tensioned all the way and aim a little higher.
Also you do not need headshots, you just need to hit any part of the body for the same amount of damage.

Yah, I got the hang of it last night. It's much easier in 1st person mode, the gameplay is kinda similar to a hunter in WoW, kite + shoot ,repeat. It's awesome game thou, I'm overwhelmed there is so much to do. I tried the second quest where you go in the gates of oblivion and got owned soon after as I only had 10 arrows left :D

My character is a Wood Elf and has his birth under the sign of shadow (60 second invisibility spell), Acrobatics, Marksman, Light Armour, Illusion, Blade, Mysticism and Personality I think. Do you think this is good?

By the way ,are the city guards killable ? (when you resist arrest) :D

Having a blast so far, only problem is, it's highly addictive.

Edit: How do you "sneak" ? I find enemies see me 50 yards away from them, sometimes even with chameleon on :S, is this something that becomes better as you level it?

Ah thanks :D.

Yah I thought creating a rogue/archer hybrid would be a good idea, the starting area is such a closed dungeon that it was hard to use arrows at such short distances so I thought having a dagger/sword would be handy.

I try not to get arrested but stealing is so fun :D.

Thanks for the advice on sneaking, that makes sense.

As I have said many time before, your best option when starting is getting into The Dark Brotherhood guild as it kits you out very well early on. Google on how to get in, it favors the rogue/archer/sneaky characters :)

Also the thieves guild sounds like its up your street.

ags

Thanks, I had already thought of the thieves guild :D. I'll have a look into the dark brotherhood.
