Hope I'm not going to get into trouble for this as I posted it in the official thread but it disappeared behind other pages fast:

The reason I'm posting is I'm looking to upgrade my pc asap, & while my current machine (q6600 + 560ti) did run it ok its starting to struggle as teso is the 2nd game in the last few months thats had the cpu getting very hot, Shootmania being the other if thats relevant.

So I was wondering what fps people were getting on amd 8320 rigs, with what graphics cards/OS.

I'm a little concerned that skyrim ran so much better on intel & wonder if that will reflect in Teso too, & would also like to know if possible if people were getting much fps difference between win7 & win8.1 as I read that 8.1 was much better optimised for amd.

I can't help with the main aspect of your post, but one thing I will say is don't worry about issues from Skyrim being in ESO as they use completely different engines, are written by different companies and have nothing in common technically.

I have an AMD 7970 and game the ran like a dream.

Personally i think your CPU will be fine if its overclocked. The Q6600 is a very good chip.
