Someone with this e-mail added me to MSN last week. I keep asking how he got my e-mail and he either ignores me or says it's on ebay (which it isn't).

I then get someone else adding me to MSN which turns out to be a friend who has had his hotmail account hacked. The funny thing is that just before this - the same person added him to his MSN list.

Anyone else heard of anything similar?

I've heard of it happening, word of mouth on forums like this thread for example, but i dont know anyone its happened too directly.

I haven't heard anything about this. Thanks for the heads up. I normally don't bother accepting people if they add me unless I know who they are.

Is it @hotmail.com or .co.uk? Your thread title doesn't say.

I can't remember. I just blocked and deleted him.

And to the stupid comments like "omgz he'll delete your HD" - right, I'm not stupid and I don't give a **** about chain mail etc. I was just warning people as it just seems strange that he adds my friend, friends account gets hacked and then he adds me - with no connection whatsoever.

This has nothing to do with chain mail etc.

Fair enough. :)

As before, thanks for the warning. :)

No connection whatsoever? What about you being on your friend's MSN list? Obviously just adding everyone off his account.

That's nothing.

For the last 5 years I have had 13-15 year old scottish school girls adding me to MSN. I am called Nick and my email has CFC in it (I support Chelsea) I am guessing they have a friend call Nick who supports Celtic and has given out the wrong email. None of them can speak on MSN either, they type with a Scottish accent (not quite but only seen them do it) if that makes sense? Like "Where yae fae?"(Where you from? - I know that isn't how they speak but they actually type like that)

They are spastics.
