Electric shavers

Why the heck are you banging on about kier Starmer in a thread about electric shavers….

The man must live rent free in your head.

Anyway, back to topic, I bought a new Philips as a second unit I can keep in our caravan because it changes from Type-c and not some proprietary connector and I actually prefer it over my supposed superior Panasonic.

The foils on the Panasonic are obviously not brand new but they’ve never cut hairs which lay salt on my skin very well where as the Philips took them right off. It wasn’t a high end one either.

philips hmmh - had one on a money back if you don't like it once, at uni in Bath 30yrs ago, unless you have no grain direction don't see how they work,
who pushes an electric or blade in any direction (so spookily probably just up starmers street too.)

Rather I've just followed braun, panasonic doctrine - maybe Musk could evolve the design.

The "Philips 9000 iQ" refers to
Philips' top-of-the-line shaver series, which uses SkinIQ technology to adapt to the user's skin and hair. These shavers are designed for a close shave with features like 360° flexing heads and a Lift & Cut system that work together for a comfortable shave. The "iQ" models also include advanced sensors and can connect to a smartphone app for personalized guidance and pressure feedback
SkinIQ Technology: An AI-powered system that senses and adapts to your skin and hair type, often providing real-time pressure feedback through the shaver's light and the connected app.
e2: I knew those data centres would be useful
