Electric shavers

What about those who are follicly challenged?
Any recommendations on a wide shaver that can get low (don't want to shave baby smooth)

I never got on with an electric shaver as I always found it gave me a rash

You're probably doing it wrong tbh, such as pressing too hard, or going over the same area too many times. Electric shavers do induce friction, you can try lubricanting the shaver first or simply use after shave or some product that prevent rashes

Not sure philips ever made shavers - they offered a trial 20years ago and took it back - went from braun to panasonic, as they joined the market,
never looked back for debris, you just flip off the cartridge after shaving and blow the debris out the window.
8/9 minutes a day

Just got myself a Phillips one blade, they are great for a quick once over. Still prefer a shave with a DE but the one blade is decent for my beard thickness etc

Can anyone recommend a shaver for £30 or less - if a decent one exists? I'm having a nosy online now and prices are all over the place. I've even Googled budget shavers and every single list is different.

The sheer time and mess of a wet shave each morning. I think you are mad
You made the mistake of assuming people shave every morning, instead of just doing a wet shave once a week out of sheer laziness :D

I just got an electric shaver though to start doing it daily, see if I can be bothered

Still nothing new in shaving technology from Panasonic or others, to ask santa for ? (haven't even seen braun adds on social media)

Any opinions on electric shaving effectiveness between a just dried face after washing w/hot water compared to waiting a bit,
have been doing the forner for many years, but both razers&reserve were out of battery so had to, inconveniently, wait for a recharge,
but overall seems a better experience.

I always apply a bit of mineral oil on the the blades.

shaving tech hasnt changed in ages, no reason to buy new shaver if your current works
my 20yr old panasonic is wearing out(triggers broom), but their newer ones change the motor speed depending on load which means they erratically pull whiskers,
so my newer one is the backup

adding some comedy - Starmers budget pride speech today reminded me of this

e: if you didn't get it - the smugness and false sense of pride being the connection
