Just got in from work(works van) and as i walked to my door i noticed the car i have on hire untill today (Vauxhall astra) the two front windows were down half way both exactly the same, i know for a fact they were closed yesterday as i didn't open them as i used the air con, the key fob was just sitting on the shelf at home and was not put in my pocket from locking door to entering the house, my BMW 330 used to do this from time to time, is this still a common problem.

my BMW 330 used to do this from time to time, is this still a common problem.

Usually the key fob being pressed by accident while in the pocket causing them to open. Both my BMW's used to do it until I got a fob case from Fleabay and it has not happened since.

Not sure if the Astra works the same way?

The feature is on my wife's Mondeo too, very annoying when you've got sun blinds up in the back of the car for the kiddies as the little suckers get caught between the window and the door

Aye they deffo opened on it's own, never put the keys in my pocket to trigger it, only 900 miles on the clock so brand new, what i found it's common among vauxhall :(
