I've been using Simetrix for a while but I'm now using a Mac OS. Can anyone recommend a comparative OSX compatible program thats free/open source?

Ideally I'd like a GUI with Spice simulator in one package rather than having to import/export to two separate packages.

Cheers

If you like the Simetrix app just run in in a Windows VM using VMWare Fusion or Parallels.

A free alternative is VirtualBox, but tbh the other two are well worth paying - use that student loan for proper stuff rather than just beer!

If you really want a Mac OS native program, MacSpice 3 might suit your requirements.

A Student Loan would be a fine thing!

Thanks for the advice. I was looking at MacSpice but it doesn't appear to have a schematic editor - I'm not great with Spice Syntax/netlists.

I'm awaiting a demo of LogicWorks, that seems cheap enough to keep everything in a OSX environment.
