Hi all,

question regarding opinions on possible electrical interference, I’ve recently placed a new switch and wired router (not WiFi) near to my consumer unit next to where my gas and electric meters are in my house.
Question is since moving them to the new position my internet speeds have reduced significantly, I’ve since been able to move the router but unable (for now) to move the switch would there possibly be any interference from the consumer unit etc cause speed issues with switch etc?

I’m at a loss as to why my WiFi is virtually half the speed, I’ve got all new unifi equipment router/poe switch/ac pro access points on VM 350mb usually getting 380mb on WiFi. All tests show fine for VM on the broadband line check. Thanks

Seems very unlikely, the cables are going to be shielded anyway, have you actually set-up your AP or just plugged it in and expected a happy ending?

Set up the AP as with everything else, taken time to look over it time and time again. Ah well, I'll keep looking at different things that maybe the cause.
