The mrs and I just had one of those "I told you I wanted it done this way" conversations which never took place. We are a few weeks from getting the conservatory floor done so trying to work out where to run cables etc.

The setup in the conservatory is as follows:

The power comes from a spur off a double socket in the house to the conservatory via a fused socket (with switch). This then goes to a double socket which is then spurred off to another socket on the far side of the room.

I'd like to add a single socket on the wall where the purple X is for a TV.

I have read conflicting ideas of how to achieve this. One idea is that I can add as many spurs as I want as there is a 13A fuse to protect the circuit.

How would you guys go about this?

So I expect I'll have the following in the conservatory, it won't be used frequently and unlikely everything will be switched on at the same time:

- TV, Chromecast, Sky box
- Heater
- Sonos
- Table lamp
- The odd phone being charged etc

Would I spur off the double socket or off the fused socket?
