Hey guys, looking for thoughts on these, I have recently tried 10 Motives rechargeable, and found it quite enjoyable to smoke despite a lot of negative comments on the particular brand. The amount of vape it produces is fine for me, and I even get a throat hit from it. I have given up real smoking for a while, so maybe that's why these are satisfying to me.

The info on general Vaping, i.e safety, what chemicals are used I have looked at on the tinterweb seems inconsistent at best. I would put more value on your guys opinion here tbh. So would appreciate some comments from people who have tried it, or just people with more knowledge on the subject. Read some different forums but opinion seem to differ greatly on if these are safe to use. Am I missing out by not getting a proper Vape kit? If I was to choose to try some more higher end vaping kit later on, what type of is best, what is best value in terms of how much use you can get from the different products. What is your best experience?

Also if any of you guys order direct from the various brands own website's, have you had good experiences with them etc?

I've been vaping for over 9 months now and I must say it's been brilliant, I'm so glad that I managed to move away from smoking altogether after 4 years.

The pro's for me:

A much cheaper alternative to smoking
Great nicotine hit
Healthier
No lingering smells
Having the option to choose different nicotine strengths
Being able to vape indoors at most pubs, clubs, shops and other places etc.

Cons:

Never knowing when to stop a vaping session, sometimes I can do it for up to 15 minutes at a time and even longer when I've had a drink

It can be a bit messy at times when using the likes of an eGo etc., and parts can leak if they are rubbish ones.

Throat hit most of the time can near enough be non existent, and the only time you do get a good throat hit is only if you're using 24MG strength nicotine but IMO for me it's too much.

Lastly, even though it's a great alternative to smoking - it's simply not quite the same as the old smoking experience. I suppose this could be a good thing though as people like me are wanting to quit altogether eventually.

Yeah I'm enjoying vape more tbh, I guess because I know it's not as bad for you. This E-cig def gives me good throat hit, actually quite sore today :p Once I've gone through my refills, I might try a more higher end kit. You got any recommendations about the best places to get stuff online?

I highly recommend both Vape Land & eCigWizard mate :) The reason I use both is because Vape Land sell the Kanger Kits & juices but eCigWizard have a shop in my local town which is handy, and they also stock up on some of my other favorite flavours :)

I smoked 20 a day for 25 years. I switched to vaping last year and haven't touched a ciggie since.
I make my own fluids so I know EXACTLY what's in it (aqueous glycerine, clinical grade nicotine, flavourings).

There appears to be no cons to it other than having to charge batteries etc.

My view of vaping is, harmful or not, it's LESS harmful than smoking and so if it gets smokers to quit tobacco then it's a good thing.

Without reading the mahoosive thread, which would be the best kit to buy?

I can't get along with the disposable ones, so would be looking for a kit/mixing my own fluid.
