I'm currently using a satnav for my job. Sometimes it comes up short and I have to ask for directions. I have an Iphone4 which has maps on it but I believe it only works while I'm in range of my wireless home network. I have also used an ipad with the same restriction, it apparently needs a mobile dongle to work elsewhere.
I've seen an Ipad air advertised which I assume also has maps and has an optional mobile dongle built-in.
My question is: What is my best option including price, what I want to use it for and not necessarily made by Apple?
