Not sure where to ask this so I thought I'd try here first! This is one for any electronics minded people.
I'm repairing an old Amiga 500 and I've had to scrape away some of the solder mask along a trace to ensure there is a good connection. There is so I can now solder a replacement socket in place. However, I feel I should protect to bare copper I've revealed along the trace. Could I just use some flux and then dab a little solder over the bare copper to coat it in solder? Thereby sealing the copper and stopping it from oxidising?
Any advice much appreciated.
