Elementary UPS question...

Hi there! I just bought and connected a UPS to my desktop PC.Question is: After shutting the PC off for the night should i power off the UPS as well and turn it on again tomorrow? Or should i leave it open 24/7, even when PC is off?
What about long periods of abscence, for example summer vacations?

You should charge it to full then turn it off I think?

Leave the UPS on all the time. You need to turn it off only when the power is out and the computer has been properly shut down.

I leave UPS on 24/7 but do turn it of and unplug along with everything else when on holiday.
