So i purchased a Elgato 4k Pro and installed it into my computer with the correct pcie slot. installed all software and then tried it out with the recommeneded setting.
Xbox S to cards input slot.
Output slot to Second Monitor so i can use the passthrew.
loaded the 4k capture utility up and used the recommened setting. i managed to get the input working fine. but was un able to get any passthrough.
long story short went threw elgatos tech support and they said it should all work fine. but have u got another motherboard to try it on as your current one myt not have enough power in the pcie slot.
so i got out another one of my motherboards (TUF GAMING B760M-PLUS II) with the compatable pcie slot, installed everything again but still was un able to get any passthrough.
so here i am, asking if any 1 else has any problems or fixes to help me. or am i doing something silly like not changing a bios setting or something?
im on my second 4k pro card after the first i got rma'd just incase. but even the second one still works fine with input to the capture utillity but no passthrough to the second moniter.
(all hdmi 4k cables work as tested on other devices aswell as all monitors.)
