Wonder if you gents and ladies could shed a little light on something for me.
I've picked up a shiny Elgato HD60 and trying to get it setup right but i'm having trouble working something out with the settings.
Under the Device tab there are one lot of settings, which make sense. What i'm not sure about are the other bunch of settings under the main settings tab. (Under Video Codec)
I'm trying to get my head around under which circumstance does each setting apply? Does one overule the other? Does the Device tab dictate the overall bitrate but the Video Codec tab decides the quality of a stream or conversion to MP4?
I've not been able to find any information from the Elgato site that sinks in.
Thoughts?
