My goal is to try and reduce initial load lag while playing MMORPG's. is it humanly possible to eliminate load lag entirely? which component would be the bottleneck in this? usually i thought the hard disk would cause the bottleneck for me so i bought a SSD drive and while i saw an improvement my system still has the 3-4 seconds of awkward load lag. whats strange is while the game logs in i can hear something in the machine rattling away, the game is on the SSD drive so im wondering why it sounds like my storage drive is kicking in?...what else could make a rattle like a HD accessing data (SSDs are supposed to be noise free)
its a pure gaming machine with a fresh windows 7 install and 1 game installed.
the MMO in question atm is AION.
