Elimination help please

Been around to my friends and cannot get his machine to connect to any of the gamespy servers. They all say Server timed out etc but as I can conect with no problems from my machine i suspect its his machine at fault. I have tried turning of antivirus and also the firewall but still no luck. I am thinking the only place left for the blockage is in the router settings is there anything else I should look at

When you say it worked on your machine, was your machine using his connection? If not, you should try that.

no my machine is in my house other than his router I am at a loss why all the serves he connects too times out

im guessing his router is not forwarding the ports so u will need to go into the router settings and set that up.
