I got the beta version of this today.
Can I just say WOW, what a game! Every bit as good as a modern version of Elite should be.
For those who are fans of the original series then this is a must, for those new to it, it's an awesome game to experience, just be prepared to put the time in to it.
Off to fly around some more in my ship now, neeeeeeeeeeowww
