elite or premium?

I'd just like to confirm... for your extra money you get more HDD space and an HDMI cable is that right?

is that really all it is or do the elites have better cooling/better reliability or anything like that?

I prefer the look of the white consoles, and am not particularly bothered with a big HDD, so unless there are some hidden advantages (which is why i'm asking) i think the premium is for me...

Yup you've got the difference there, the elite also comes with a digital audio out for when using HDMI, so if you've got an amp that doesn't accept HDMI input it might be worthwhile.

Bigger HDD will be of benefit if you want to install games to the HDD.

Most premiums from a certain etailers have the new jasper chipset whereas the elite are still falcon(except for the red elite) if that helps

does anyone know anything about this "voucher" thing that people have mentioned in other threads? people seem to have got elites for £140 using it (and quidco) :eek:

EDIT: and i'll just tag on another question, if this "jasper" thing matters, can i tell from the box before i buy as i'm going to buy it in town...
