do you think it would be bad to buy an elite on release day from price perspective?

i've been told about £330 for console with no games.

I've seen cheaper pre orders. I'd give it a good month to see where prices go, the elite isn't technically offering much more than the premium does.

I'm tempted, if only for HDMI so that I could hook it up to my HDMI switch.

£330 is a bit steep, though.

I want it so i can get rid of the stupid 6ft long component cable...

Just wish my soldering skills were a lot better so i could cut it down...

hdmi cable is simple , neat and tidy
