Elusive 3Ghz

Hey guys and gals, trying to reach the elusive 3Ghz here, currently at 2.8 with the set up in my sig, and at 1.35V. Went up to 421FSB and the PC bluescreened on me. Thing is I'm not sure if its my RAM or CPU, so would it be best to loosen up the timings on the RAM and up the volts to 2v say (from 1.8 at the moment) to get it out of the equation?

Isn't the Geil rated to 2.1v? Should definately try to up the ram a bit more!

If itys the Ultra Low latency the yes 2.1V is the sweet spot.

If you look at memory in your sig on the shop bit of this site is says 1.9V-2.3V.

Get those volts upped

lol fair does, bit o research goes a long way, will up the RAM to 2.0 to hopefully take it out of the equation and go from there

I could always buy better RAM.... but there we go, lol
