hi all

i have just had to reinstall Windows XP on this for my grandad. just wondering what motherbored it has.

he is saying its slightly slow. so wanted to try clocking the CPU up but there is no option to in the bios.

any ideas??

no idea what board it would have... doubt you could get more performance from it though

you could stick something like CPUz or Sandra on it, these both should be able to tell you what the motherboard make/model is

its a no-name brand with no oc options avaliable, worked with a number of emachines pc's and they all run the same carp no-name mobo manuf.

After just taking a quick look at the specs it may be worth just upgrading the ram given that it only comes with 128MB.
