I've mainly used NeoVim or Visual Studio Code for programming and Joplin for note taking but I've been doing some reading about Emacs and have been lead to believe that I can do all three things with Emacs in a way that will work cross platform. I'm curious if there are any Emacs users here and if so, what do you use it for? Also any tips for a new user? I'm quite keen to learn Emacs Lisp as part of the learning process.
