Email Abroad Question

Stupid question and im sure I know the answer but as im not 100% id better find out before hand!

Basically going to Mauritius and am taking the laptop, get free wi-fi in the room so I can get online.

If I want to check email do i need to change any of my current settings in Outlook? Or because im connecting to a set POP account etc, will it just auto check as soon as im connected?

Should work fine, I assume you've used your laptop at other places than your house? It will be just the same as that. The only thing you may need to do is change your SMTP server depending on your email host.
