Email addresses

I need a new email, should I just get one with my name then number? Seems a bit boring so im reluctant.

I will be using it for important stuff (UCAS, dad, shopping sites - sensitive info)

Give me some ideas..

my email's very near to my name, nothing boring about it if it's for sensitive data, if anything it'll make you look more proffesional than "[email protected]"

i have 2 i use, ones for general rubbish, and the other is the more formal one for contacting compnies/buyin stuff etc, got it when gmail first came about, so it is actually my name @gmail.com lol

If you want to look professional (for university applications etc.), you can't beat registering your own domain name. Something like [email protected] or [email protected] just screams professionalism to me (Well, as long as the domain isn't pointed at a horrible frontpage monstrosity!)

This joke has some legs yet!!
[email protected] just doesnt look good.

Hence why i went with my name and surname.

Get a domain and use it for email, can get some cheap hosting packages for email only, alternatively get a cheap webhost I pay £10 a year for unlimited bandwidth, got 2 domains on it too.
