Email client

My main account is with hotmail and I just use the web based hotmail, but dont find it great for organisation etc. Can anyone recommend one?

Depends what you do really. Gmail is a good free option. A hosted Exchange account might be a good option (depending on what exactly you want to do).

I thought he was asking for a client, like Outlook or Thunderbird, not a service.

Though GMail is superior to Hotmail so I would switch anyway! [GMail also has a function to grab emails from your Hotmail, so you don't need to check two accounts].

Oh yeah, whoops

I'm an 'avid' Outlook user myself - does everything I need it to (except properly sync with my phone grr).

Plus, if you're going to stick with Hotmail, you can download the Outlook Connector, which lets you access your Hotmail accounts in Outlook and easily add/sync calendars/contacts etc

Thunderbird, I just like being able to back it up locally whenever I feel like it using Mozbackup and it does everything I need.
