Just received an email from Google regarding test driving a chrome OS notebook.

A while back, you signed up to receive news, updates, and launch information about Chrome and Chrome OS. We have good news: Chrome notebooks are here, and you’re eligible to receive one!

Chrome notebooks are for people who live on the web and want a faster, safer and more secure experience without all the headaches of ordinary computers.

To apply to get your Chrome notebook, please provide your US mailing address by clicking the link below no later than Friday, December 10, 2010 at 11:59 PM PST.

Obvious problem is I don't live in the U.S. Wonder if It's worth trying to use a mail forwarding address to get around it.

hmm, would love it myself actually but it's an option. Best point out it's not guaranteed, I've been invited to apply for one of a limited number of test notebooks being handed out.

ive got a mate in the US who would most likely be happy to recieve it and ship it on (for cost ofc) if your really stuck, although id prefer you let him send it to me

Well it's not really that exclusively, seems I just got a head ups direct from Google that's all.
