Email help - reply to wrong account.

Got an perplexing issue at work, user logs onto his hot mail account [email protected] (via IE8), and sends an email. When he gets a reply its to his work address [email protected], rather than his hotmail. There is now email forwarding set up on either MS exchange or the hotmail account, any one able to shed some light on this or point me in the right direction.

He is logging into Hotmail, clicking on a "mailto:" link somewhere on the internet, which is opening Outlook, and he's actually sending it from his work account?

Has he set the 'replyto' field as his companies email address?

Think thare is an option in the settings.

Reply email address is wrong, probably.

The person at the other end is changing the reply email address?

Thank you for this, hit the nail right on the head. Didn't know this had been added to hotmail.
