MODS: Could you please add to the title: "Email and other questions on.." Thanks :)

Ok so after getting my Macbook Air I decided that I would like to share a few things between both computers.

1. Email. My problem is that I am on VM(NTLWorld) and I would like to use POP3 on my PC, since what I would do is download all my email on my PC, and delete the emails I don't want, and store the ones that I do.

Now if I want to access my latest emails (not the ones stored on my PC that is), I could connect via IMAP.

But the problem is that even if I delete an email via IMAP, it still stays on the server when my PC downloads via POP3.

Can anyone recommend a way how to get everything synced across? I would prefer to remain with NTLworld and not have to migrate across to a different email service if possible.

2. I would like to share content between both PCs. E.g. documents that I am working on and what not. What would be the best way to go about this? Share out the relevant folders on my PC? How would I go about this?

3. I purchased Office 2010 on Digital River via the student offer recently. Is there a similar said offer for Office 2011 for Mac?

4. Is there a streaming rdp type service/program for the PC/Mac (similar to splashtop for the iPad), which allows me to RDP into my PC but stream it across in video? (I.e. much more quickly than say the likes of RealVNC etc?) Im guessing this is not the case, but I thought Id ask anyway.

5. All my photos are located on my PC. And I would like to share this out with my MBA. Would sharing the folder be my best bet (as is the case in 2).

Thank you so much in advance fellow Mac-er....Maccarerians :)

Anyone :) ?
(If you believe that these questions are best off answered on a mac forum, by all means could you please point me in the direction of a decent mac forum? Im totally new to the mac environment so your patience with this noob is highly appreciated :))

TIA!

You can get Office 2011 for Mac in a student offer from software4students.co.uk for £37:

* Mods, remove if this is classed as advertising competitors. I didn't think it would be, because it is purely a student software distribution site.

Thanks OwaF.
The PC version of this offer included a lot more applications such as Publisher, Access, One note etc.

Is an equivalent not available for the Mac (under the student offer) ?
