I cant seem to send emails to my domain.

I'm sure I have my MX records set correctly, as 123.reg have advised but I'm still getting the following messages when checking through websites like InternetFrog.

Results
Confidence rating: 0 - Bad address what this means
Error: MX records do not have valid IP addresses

Address parts
Local part: sales
Domain: mydomain.com
Extra text:

MX records
Preference Exchange IP address (if included)
10 mx0.123-reg.co.uk.mydomain.com [0.0.0.0]

SMTP session
[Resolving mx0.123-reg.co.uk.mydomain.com...]
[Lookup of mail server address failed]

Please PLEASE can someone advise me what I'm doing wrong as no-one can send emails to [email protected] and salesmydomain.com. :(

THANKS TO ANYONE WHO CAN HELP!!! :)

What's the domain and advised MX record? Methinks you need to set the MX record to 'mx0.123-reg.co.uk.' :)

Sorry the '10' is the perference.

Something funny has just happened just amended my Overclockers account email to [email protected], and just got an email from them.

Could it be something up with hotmail when I try to email [email protected].

Are you able to send me a TEST email or is against the rules??

I know :)

It looks like you've missed out the '.' at the end of the MX record - or put in 'mydomain.com' on the end anyway - look very carefully at my last post - 'mx0.123-reg.co.uk' is their MX server, but you need a full-stop at the end too :)

I can send a test message- if the above doesn't fix it and you don't want to post the domain publicly, check my trust for MSN :))
