Email setup on S4 Aquamail

I've recently decided to finally do away with my trusty iPhone 4 and replace it with a nice shiny Galaxy S4. I'm really liking my new S4, apart from one issue, I cant get my email accounts set up on it. I tried the stock email app, K9 and now I am trying AquaMail. I've managed to get my personal gmail account to sync up easy enough, however my two work emails aren't having any of it. They're both exchange accounts, however when I try and get it to set up automatically it comes back with an authentication failed message. If I try manually I get the same message.

I'm probably doing something obviously wrong but I haven't come across what it could be.

Any idea's folks?

K9 and AquaMail don't fully support exchange only IMAP/SMTP which I'm guessing your work email doesn't allow, I know mine doesnt.

Still the stock android email client has always worked fine with my work exchange servers be it 2003, 2010 or 2013 and these have all kinds of crazy security setup (enforce pin codes etc). I'd suggest you triple check all your settings.

Have you tried adding the account via settings, then add account then Microsoft exchange active sync, rather than via the email app itself?
