Email Sorting Software

Hi,

I have been trying to find some form of software that has a automatic sort function built in.

Basically I receive a lot of emails everyday about specific queries. I was just wondering if anyone knew about some software that could do something like a keyword search automatically and split my emails up via query.

If this could be easily made to work with outlook even better, however I would be willing to use something different if it worked well.

Outlook can move them around automatically based on a few factors: sender and keyword in the subject line being the first that come to mind.

Have a look in the options menus for "rules".

I don't think they can do keyword searches in the message body though.

The problem is the headers rarely display key information to what it is about. I deal with a lot of companies so splitting it up based on sender wouldn't really work.

Is a keyword search a possible thing that could be built? Or are there reasons why it wouldn't work?

I thought outlook and Windows Mail did search the main body of text? Try one on a sample email and send it to yourself?

I would have all your suppliers use a standard template for their subject line, then use the Rules Wizard to filter emails based on keywords. Enforce a standard template from now on, and make them do the work.
