so at the moment when a customer gets quote through our online quote system it just sends them a plain text break down of the quote.
i'm looking to improve this to something much more professional and send them a nice looking colourful email with the quote neatly laid out.
this isn't an exact example as it doesn't have the table, but the below is roughly what i'd like. colourful background. clear content in the middle with the important info and some call to action buttons.

what would be the best way to do this? When the email gets sent, do i sent it with all the styling inline?
is there a recommended max/min width? what about testing it? how many email clients do i need to check this on to see how it comes out?
