What I want to do is have one email sent to a group of people by just clicking one address, is it possible in Outlook 03?

I have about 30 addresses so clicking each one really takes time.

You will need to import them as contacts first

Outlook doesn't seem to let me import the .xls file which I have it has three columns "name", "Email" and "class".

If you save your Excel spreadsheet as a .csv file you should be able to import it into Outlook.

You may want to create a New Folder in Contacts view first so that your imported contacts don't get mixed up with your existing ones.

did not work at all.

I select the option to Import, MS Excel and point to the .xls and it fails every time saying that it could find a named group.

. Go into Excel, save your spreadsheet as a csv file (.csv, therefore no longer a .xls file) and then go into Outlook and see that under Import/ Export, select Import from another program or file ands then select Column Separated Variable.

Oh for Gods sake at least read my replay before saying it doesnt work. After that, I seriously cannot go into much more detail without volunteering to wipe your arse for you.
Firstly if you don't want to help then leave the thread and don't be rude.

Secondly at which point did you say to import via comma separated values?

I have never tried to import anything offer than a .PST file, and that is easy.

Now M0KUJ1N definitely could have been a bit nicer about it, but i did google "Import Contacts Outlook" and those were a couple of the top links that came up.

That seems to work great, when I searched google it was not much help and I forgot to search though the MS KB :o

Sorry about the attitude, no need for it. Have edited my original contribution accordingly
You are correct (no need for it), you are forgiven though :D ;)
