Email White listing

Wasn't really sure where to put this.

Is it possible to include a script in a html email that allows the recipient to click it and add the sender to their whitelist? I need to figure out a way to do this for Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo etc.

I'm not even sure if it's possible?

No it isn't possible, and that's a good thing.

The only way is by adding your email address to the whitelist in the email program itself - it can't be scripted.

Don't think there's a single email client that will allow any kind of script - or at least allow it to run.

Best you can do if offer instructions as far as I'm aware.

It's why you usually have those "Don't forget to add us to your safe senders list!" at the bottom of email marking campaigns etc.

Campaign Master have a feature that allows non-tech savvy subscribers to easily add your address to their safe senders list. http://www.addtosenders.com/

As it is though I don't rate them as an ESP at all.
