Email woes

I appeear to be having a problem with my email on my laptop. It is only on the sending that i have the snag. Have cinfigured Outlook to my email account thru PlusNet and receiving email works ok. When trying to send emails i keep getting the following error

Task 'PlusNet - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC03) : ' The server responmded: 544 Please check your SMTP server is ser to smtp.wanadoo.co.uk

and then a web address for help. My main worry is that i dont use wanadoo. I have tried removing my email account from outlook and then adding a new, no change. Uninstalling Office completely and then re-installing, no change. Was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to resolve this issue and get me back to sending emails again

Have you tried setting it to the wanadoo address? I have a domain which one of my friends uses for emails, hes with wanadoo and it did not like the fact the smtp address was set to mail.myhost.com yet it worked haveing his wanadoo servers there instead.
