Just a quick Q

ive just got my new Nokia N70

i can send e-mail using it, but the address appears to be ficticious as its "anythingiwant"@o2.co.uk

i take it to recieve e-mail on my mobile i need a blackberry-esque device ?

No, you just need a pop3 email account.

Put your pop3 server details, username and password into the incoming server information and bobs your auntie's live in lover.

do you automatically get one when you sign up to a network ?

or do you have to use your own. As i only have my ntlworld e-mail, and that wont let you use pop3 from a non NTL connection.

O2 may be able to offer an email service (check their website for details), I know Orange offer free pop3 accounts for orange customers.

Failing that, you could always get a domain with a pop3 server for not much (about £15 a year from somewhere like 34sp.com) and use that. Gmail might also be a possibility but it can be hit and miss to get it to work.
