Email

I use my own domain name which forwards to a Gmail account and then accessed via IMAP using Outlook. The main advantage of this being I can access my email from any PC and my phone.

Another vote for Gmail, I've converted everyone for whom I'm tech support (ie; friends and family) from using outlook to gmail.
You can actually migrate from outlook to gmail, taking all your old messages and contacts, not to mention your existing email address!

Gmail does what hotmail, outlook etc does and more. I love the ajax interface. I just really dislike the the loading bar in the top left of the screen - looks so untidy - wish they put it in the middle of the screen.

Apple Mail / Thunderbird have always been kind to me. Outlook after that.

Never really attached myself to gmail, still use live mail though for personal things.

I used OS Office 2007 Pro with Outlook 2007 email and saving .PST file for all my email message in 2nd drive so i wont lose it when i format the master drive that make you easier.

outlook 03 for the win.

I would move to 07 but I've got a huge VBA project that I've written to manage emails and I hear that not all vba methods and objects are the same in both 03 and 07.

Either way, I'm a bit of a Microsoft boy. :)
